Instructions

Each shrink wrap product comes with written instructions for general application, description of the product and safety considerations. Certain applications may require development of specific instructions.

Safety

Good safety practices are important with the shrink wrap process to prevent injury to the applicator/wrapper and damage to the product and workplace. The shrink film, tapes, straps, padding and ventilation will burn at their respective ignition points. Heat guns using LP gas should be handled with extreme care and only by persons trained and experienced in their use. Products and equipment come with instructions that should be read and understood. Material safety data sheets (MSDS) are available for various shrink wrap products. Keep all shrink wrap material and equipment out of the reach of children.

Environmental

The shrink film, tape, strap and vent products described in this catalogue are manufactured without the use of class 1 or class 2 ODC's (Ozone Depleting Chemicals) as described by Title VI, section 611D and 602 of the Clean Air Act of 1990

Recycling

Polyethylene shrink film and padding can and should be recycled. The shipping containers used for all products can and should be recycled. Dispose of non-recyclable items in a responsible manner.
